Mozambique: Solar-Powered Water Supply System Changes Lives

Mozambique, like most of the SADC region, faces severe droughts and other effects of climate change. To build climate resilience and help alleviate poverty, CIWA and GEF support the SADC-GMI in providing sustainable water supply in the region. Muchocolote village in Mozambique is welcoming greater development as a new solar-powered water pump raises productivity by drastically improving access to water.
